Hello. I’m Kate.
I’m originally from Australia, but I’ve spent most of my adult life living in a load of different countries and travelling to countless others. At the moment, I’m based in London.
As a writer, I’ve interviewed all sorts, from actors, musicians and authors, to political figures, fashion designers and Michelin-starred chefs.
I do my fair share of columns, reviews of all types and travel features too. As a photographer, I specialise in food, travel and street style.
My work appears in a variety of publications, including AOL’s MyDaily/Huffington Post, Grazia, Time Out, Esquire and Harper’s Bazaar. I’ve also written a novel (it’s called Walking Distance)and completed an MA in Creative Writing at City University (London).
I started i am not a celebrity in 2010, not long after I moved from Dubai to the UK. At first, the blog was purely a place I could continue publishing my writing and photos while settling into a new home. However, as more and more people began to visit and I fell in love with the process, it quickly morphed into what it is today: a small corner of the internet where I celebrate art, fashion, beauty, literature and anything and anybody else who catches my eye.
