One of my resolutions for 2013 was to make more stuff – and January got off to a cracking start. If you follow me on Instagram, you may have noticed that I’ve been using the hashtag #365DIY. Yes, I’m aiming to create something every day – from the small (trying out new recipes and knitting scarves) to the large (designing and painting my own built-in bookshelves and entertainment unit). It’s been thoroughly rewarding and I aim to continue it all year long. Other highlights this month include learning to walk again, a child on the bus calling me a Stormtrooper, and wearing two shoes.
