I’m heading to the kitchen myself later on. It’s Australia Day tomorrow and I’m going to do my best to cook up some of the food me and my mates miss from home. I’m not expecting magic, but I am gunning for a modicum of sunshine. A pipe dream?
Before I go, here are my favourite foodie photographs this week. And yes, I did try to find an appetising picture of haggis since tonight is all about Robert Burns, but I’ve been unable to satisfy my quarry. Funny that.
