November was a challenge. We moved in to and began decorating our new flat. We lost a dear friend far too soon. We took an emergency trip to the vet for Goose (AKA the cat) who believed she could fly. I took an emergency trip to A&E with a smashed ankle because I too thought I was Michael Jordan.
Goose escaped with a few cuts and scratches following her three-storey tumble, while I ended up on the operating table after missing a lay-up and was a guest of the wonderful NHS for four days. The cat’s scars have healed. I have three-months of casts, crutches, boots and physio ahead of me. Go figure.
Further-flung places were also visited with trips to Casablanca, Cornwall and a chateau in France (from were I’m still tucked up in bed writing this post). New clients were found, old friends visited with lots of sweet gifts, new friendships were forged, and priorities were reassessed a little earlier than New Year’s Eve.
It’s fair to say I’m exhausted with a keen eye on the future.
December, what will you bring?
