There’s a little comparison I do at the height of the British summer. While enjoying the long long long days, a weekly glass jug of strawberry and cucumber addled Pimms and making sure I don’t leave the house without a cardie in case for when it gets chilly, you’ll often find me glancing at the weather report in Sydney. And, invariably, my home city’s mid-Winter weather report matches London’s to within a degree (and they get more sun).
I’m not bitter. Promise. But it does go a long way in explaining why Aussie brand Milk and Honey has an AW12 lookbook featuring short shorts and wispy tanks, tees and maxis.

OK, I admit it. There are some warmer pieces on display here. But come on. Nothing in this collection is going to make you look like the Michelin Man.
