I’ve been meaning to write about 1000 Awesome Things for ages (and probably should have done it sooner because the countdown is already at #34), but today Neil Pasricha posted a pic of John Cusack in Say Anything (see above) and I couldn’t put it off any longer.
1. 1000 Awesome Things highlights the overlooked and sometimes ordinary things in everyday life.
2. Today, I was reminded of Lloyd Dobbler, my most favourite movie character of all time (except maybe Jonny Castle). It’s decades later (gulp) and I’m still crushing on John Cusack.
3. Neil has published two books off the back of his blog. Much kudos.
4. He also highlights other people and their achievements too. Share the love, people.
5. Most of all, 1000 Awesome things is original, caring and clever. A welcome antidote to the haters, cynics and the like. Delish.
