Coach is one of those brands that, in my eyes, can do no wrong. You might remember how ecstatic I was when I found a vintage shoulder bag at the Hell’s Kitchen flea market last year. Well as it turns out, it wasn’t a 70s piece, but an original Dinky bag from 1980.
Ah well, I was happy to be proven wrong. Particularly because I made the discovery at the Coach store on London’s New Bond Street. I was there to view the SS12 collection, but I did get slightly waylaid by the old vintage pieces on display…
Now, don’t fret. If you keep scrolling, there’s some of the covetable newer treasures for you to have a look at too. I’m loving the colours and the details of next season’s collection. It makes me think – as I write this on a dismal Tuesday afternoon heading into a long, bitter winter – that there will once again be light at the end of the tunnel.
Oh, and I couldn’t resist putting in a huge note of congratulations to Emily Johnston of Fashion Foie Gras. This indomitable blogger is about to release the bag she designed alongside Coach. Now that’s both ace and rad-tastic, right?

The vintage Coach bag I coveted at the Williamsburg flea last month. It was $200. Probably because I was in Williamsburg.
