Last week, I popped along to the Mina preview for next season. The company, which was created by a limelight-shunning Japanese expatriate in 2005, produces some of the most whimsical and original clothes that I’ve seen on the high street of late. Vintage accents, original prints and pretty pastels abound for AW2011.
I’ve started to appreciate more feminine clothing of late – dresses over denim, I kid you not – and Mina was a great place for me to start. I wasn’t sure if this Angelica dress would suit, but it turned out to be perfect. It just goes to show that you should always step out of your comfort zone and try things on. I was truly surprised.
