A so-called friend told me recently that I’m too enamoured with street art and graffiti. I said ‘whatev’. It’s not a new interest for me – it’s another form of self-expression, after all. And, I’m not alone. The fashion industry is quite partial too. You may have heard the news that Banksy allegedly painted Kate Moss’ bathroom as a wedding present, and a few weeks ago Stylist ran a fashion spread with a model shot in front of concrete walls slashed with all sorts of spray-painted words and symbols. Other bloggers are in on the act too – Kelly Framel (AKA The Glamourai) knows where it’s at.
So, I’m turning a deaf ear to my friendly Philistine. I’m staying on this paint-spattered bandwagon with shots of the Stylist piece, some more London doodles and pics from the Crack & Shine (London’s first graffiti book) launch. So there.
If you like i am not a celebrity, why not become a fan on Facebook
