walled garden

Well, that was a night. A press event, a street party, a chi-chi bar launch fat with celebrities and an intimate little session with one of London’s most delicious mixologists (and by delish, I mean his new summer cocktails were yum, just in case Whatshisname reads this…). It began in London’s west and finished in the east. And over the next few days I promise to reveal all. Today, however, I need a little recovery time so thought I’d share with you some photos I took halfway through the festivities.

I’d conned Steve The Pothole Gardener Wheen to keep me company for the evening. We met up at The National Gallery on Trafalgar Square (alright, Nelson?) and spotted this amazing wall of plants. It’s inspired by Van Gogh’s A Wheatfield with Cypresses. The installation is part of GE’s Ecomagination project. Steve asked me to take some piccies for The Pothole Gardener, so I did. And now I’m stealing them to post too. Naughty.

Click here to see The Pothole Gardener’s much more informative post and to have a look at his own version of a walled garden. Delish. Yep, I’ve said it again. What are you going to do about it?
