I love making things by hand – pillow slips, cupcakes, necklaces out of old pieces of costume jewellery that have fallen apart after one wear – you name it. I don’t get to do it as much as I would like at the moment, what with all the novel writing and other bits and pieces I do. The only thing I try to make nowadays is ends meet (wakka wakka).
Woeful jokes aside, I do love it (and am a little bit envious) when I stumble upon the incredibly talented people who make beautiful things for a living, such as Anna Evans and her Maggie Angus Jewellery. Here are two more that I’ve fallen for this week.
Louise designs and makes hand-knitted accessories with luxury wools. Here are two of my favourite pieces from her ‘meadows and creatures’ collection.

Founded by the ultra-talented Anna Alicia, this is a beautiful collection of co-ethical jewellery and homeware. I especially love the accessories.
