I’ve loved Converse since my mum told me I wasn’t allowed a pair of high-top candy pink sneakers back when I was 15 or so. Naturally, this kind of adolescent deprivation only meant that I wanted them more. And as an adult, I’ve never been without a pair, despite the fact that Whathisname tends to side with my mum on this one. I don’t care. They’re comfy and colourful and I’ll not be swayed.
I’m telling you all this because I’ve just got back from the Converse Press Day party. Unfortunately, I can’t share with you any of the new lines for Autumn/Winter, but I can say that both my mum and Whathisname better get used to more than one pair taking up space in my closet once the weather turns cooler.
I can, however, share with you some photos from the party. They’re most of shoes (naturally) and food (my second passion). Enjoy!

I adore converse. I refused to give up the most tattered pair until my mother pulled a magician act and they disappeared. And whatever delightful dessert is in those cups is making me salivate a little
